Works by Adam Farcus and Benjamin Gardner ‘you say goodbye and i say hello’ features works on paper by Adam Farcus and Benjamin Gardner. The exhibition will be on display in the Arts Center’s Armstrong Gallery through August 18, 2007. Adam Farcus received his BFA from Illinois State University in 2006. He has served as preparator at MCAC for one year, and is now moving to Chicago to begin his MFA studies at University of Illinois Chicago. Benjamin Gardner completed his MFA at Illinois State University in 2005. He has been preparator at MCAC and was a visiting professor at ISU’s School of Art. Gardner is returning to the MCAC as preparator this fall and will continue to teach Life Drawing at ISU. Their collages and works on paper work in combination to deepen aspects of humor and melancholy that both artists explore in their work. |
